The short answer: only what’s needed to keep you signed in and safe. No ads, no analytics, no tracking.
1. Essential only
TwoTide uses only essential cookies and browser storage: the minimum needed to keep you signed in, keep the private preview private, and keep safety features working. We don’t use advertising, analytics, social-media or other tracking cookies, and we don’t let third parties track you on our site.
Because everything we use is strictly necessary, there’s no cookie banner to accept and nothing to switch off. If that ever changes, we’ll ask for your consent first and update this page.
2. What we use
“Cookies” are small files a website saves in your browser. “Local storage” is a similar feature that keeps information on your device. Here’s everything TwoTide stores in your browser:

Our iPhone and Android apps keep your sign-in session in your phone’s secure storage and don’t use cookies or advertising identifiers.
3. Third-party services
A few parts of the site load content from other companies. None of them set advertising or tracking cookies through TwoTide:
- Web fonts. Our typefaces are served from twotide.com itself, so loading a page doesn’t contact any font provider or share your IP address with one, and no cookies are set.
- Live video. When you join a Live stream, date room or video call, your browser connects to our video provider to carry the audio and video.
- Payments. When card payments go live, our payment processor’s checkout may set its own strictly necessary cookies on the payment step to prevent fraud. Counsel to confirm: confirm the processor’s cookies once checkout is live, and list them here
- Identity verification. The ID check runs through our verification partner, which may use its own essential cookies or storage during the check.
4. Your choices
You can block or delete cookies and site data in your browser settings. If you do, you’ll be signed out, and parts of TwoTide (like signing in or, during the preview, reaching the site at all) won’t work.
